A Summer Thought from Yours Truly
There are so many ways to share laughter and joy, sorrow and sadness, yet we sometimes forget to reach out or to connect with people who matter in our lives.
It is easy to share an image, a post, a comment, something upbeat or something less inspiring on social media these days but the true value lies in the authenticity we experience when we connect personally to people who are loved ones, friends, family, those who are important in life outside the vapourware our life seems to have become while we have been waiting for it to happen again.
There is no right or wrong in living life, there is only our individual ways and as long as we don’t hurt anyone I believe we are okay to focus on what we find of essence for us as human beings.
We grow through the lessons we pick up as we move through our life experience and whether we make it grand or play it small is our own choice. As long as you don’t make it the choice of old conditioning and other people’s opinion I think it will be pretty great because then it is fully YOUR CHOICE.
When you practice Laughter Yoga every day you are taken on a journey to the present moment without regards for inhibitions and barriers set up through life and based on learnt behavious.
You simply are in the now!
This is where we thrive and look forward to exceptional moment and fun memories we can look back at in love and enjoyment – being touched, moved and inspired.
I started a course in Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine, and was thrilled by the way it ties into the practice of Laughter Yoga with its energy systems that recognise how our bodies are able to rebalance when we focus on the total mass of who we are.
The Ayurveda system regards us as complete beings with all there is – physically, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually, exactly like Laughter Yoga does.
It is worth and extra thought to consider this, ‘no one has ever proved that getting ill is necessary’, and with a practice of Laughter Yoga or any method that raises your energy and vibration, you have the potential to achieve homostasis.
When we laugh we create a space of equilibrium, the state where we experience complete health and peace of mind.
Something you want for yourself and those you love?
I do. I also know that I cannot make anyone do anything so let it go and change yourself then others will follow.
Together we create lasting change, it start with me, with you, with us!
Love, Laughter and Peace

Impromptu Conversations
I have had the great privilege of meeting some seriously special people over the years in the UK and around the world.
Over the coming weeks I will be hosting Impromptu Conversations with some of these awesome Laughter Yoga Experts from around the world, although planning these sessions defeats the essence of being ‘impromptu’ we will still have many elements of the unknown and spontaneity in our chats.
All of these fantastic individuals have different focus and experience, and I cannot wait to share their wisdom with you and the world, inside as well as outside Laughter Yoga communities.
What is a common denominator for us all is that we do not only deliver Laughter Yoga events, workshops and training, we provide life-changing experiences.

The prisons in Mexico has a real Laughter Yoga Champion, Luis Gomez, who works tirelessly to bring methods for change to those who may seem unchangable.
Luis works with the psychologists and staff in the prisons to provide programmes for rehabilitation.
The goal of his training has been to provide participants with another tool, so they can spread the joy with the groups they work in the prison system.
In this Impromptu Conversation we will be talking about Luis’ work in prisons and his life in Mexico.
Maki Kawakami, Japan
The realness and grace brought to Laughter Yoga through the work of Maki is outstanding when she facilitates with her natural flow of laughter, song and music.
From Japan comes a nature force of compassion, joy, light-heartedness and Laughter Yoga, it is Maki. We met first time at the first Global Laughter Yoga Conference in Frankfurt in 2017 and I found her work inspirational and refreshing.

The For You YouTube Channel Idea
They are such fun and have so much energy even with two little sidekicks.
One of my wonderful Laughter Yoga Teacher suggested that I got in touch to hear about their interest in having a Laughter Yoga video set up for their channel and I am excited to now be the regular, resident For You Laughter Yoga Expert with ‘Lotte’s Laughing Yoga’.
Who are they, then?
Mike Hurst had a great idea!
The world was in a pretty bad place and he and a few others who were on furlough put their heads together with the thought they could make use of their time for something good.
Mike says
“I’ve always felt very privileged to meet and work with some amazing people with incredible stories that have helped me learn and shaped me. It felt like this was a good place to include some of those stories and have a diverse selection of things that might help people.”
Mike and his team came up with the name “For You”.
That is exactly what the channel is! It does exactly what it says on the tin in a combination of stories, hints and tips that may help some people through these challenging times.
A great team has now come together with Mike as the idea-man who involved his family for a starter.
Then Tim came onboard with his expertise in production and design.
Finally Rob and Phoebe joined the team to manage the production, growth through social media channels and supporting the design.

There are two Laughter Yoga For You videos in the Health & Beauty section on
Arts E.X.P.L.A.I.N.E.D Podcast
I was invited as a guest on Arts E.X.P.L.A.I.N.E.D to talk about Laughter Yoga and was ever so excited.
We had so many laughs and we even had a task to perform during the podcast.
Rachel and Frances welcomes you to the Arts E.X.P.L.A.I.N.E.D podcast!
In each bite size episode they look at a different aspect of the arts in relation to theories, practice, research, philosophy, movements and roles within the arts.
They are Rachel and Frances.
Frances is an Actor, Writer, Drama Therapist and Comedian, she is currently writing ‘Oddcast’, and Rachel is a Movement Director, Educator and maker of Theatre, Opera and Film.
They are two quirky young women with flair for the unusual and their talent span over a variation of things such as; Frances bakes, tries to recreate the Homemade Pom-bear and plays the ukulele, whereas Rachel draws nude bodies, she is learning Japanese Dojo and grows plants.
They are fun and knowlegable, great Podcast hosts and up for a good challenge. Thank you, ladies!
The Podcast is available on Morley at Home on https://www.morleyradio.co.uk.

To receive the Laughter Yoga International certificate and be eligible for UK accreditation you will be required to complete Day-2 of the classroom training.
Why is Laughter Training available online if you have to complete in person, you may ask?
Because laughter is too important to leave to chance so why way!?
You are given the tools and skills to start you own laughter practice and start learning the structure of a session as you practice with your friends and family, in a laughter club or online community sessions.
PLEASE NOTE, The Laughter Yoga Training is certified with a standard international certificate issued by Laughter Yoga International and co-signed by your teacher(s) which you receive at the end of the 2-day or 5-day training or following completion of Day-2 classroom training when you learned online.
There are a few more requirements if you want the additional accreditation certificate. The classroom training is accredited in the UK.
Laughter Yoga Training Accreditation has been a huge step in the process of standardising the way we teach Laughter Yoga in the UK and how we bring the techniques to people as a tool which is approved for CPD purposes.
