Welcome to 2014
Entering a new year after having reviewed and contemplated the year that has just passed is a huge event!
It may not be the financial end of the year for many people but turning the calendar page from 2013 to 2014 brings change and new commitments, both personally and professionally.
It is as if the turning of a year signifies those changes we have all been longing for and in some cases been waiting for – for a long time.
The moment a new business plan, personal plan, New Year resolutions, Christmas present returns, the placement of the planets, and all sorts of other important happenstances start impacting and entangling our lives.
All good intention are brewing and we are on a journey to create a great 2014! Another amazing year!
May 2014 be another great year for laughter and Laughter Yoga!
Wishing you health, wealth, joy and happiness in abundance for 2014 and the years to come.
Caring makes a huge difference
Undoubtedly stating the obvious here.
Over the years I have seen many carers and service users benefit from participating in Laughter Yoga workshops, trainings and events – both short-term and long-term.
I am ever so grateful for having had the opportunity to work with a variety or organisations aiming to help people with any type of disability, people experiencing loss, people with substance abuse, people in abusive relationships, young carers, senior citizens, family organisations, and many more.
The new year, 2014, has already been booked with many new workshops and repeat programmes for these organisations and I know Laughter Yoga has an impact on anyone who is willing to give it a try – even if it is to say, ‘Laughter Yoga is not for me’. However, without trying Laughter Yoga and getting a sense of these life changing techniques it is close to impossible to judge the value and true benefits.
Laughter Yoga does take you out of your comfort zone at times but if it can positively change the lives of people who are facing many life challenges, isn’t it worth the risk?
My work is my passion and I care – and caring makes a huge difference. It is adding depth and compassion to an expression or activity people often relate to jokes and comedy. There is no way I can fully share in these lines the positive change that happens when you laugh for no reason and practice on a daily basis. Experience is key!

Psychology of Laughter Certified Laughter Therapist
Laughter Yoga is as popular as ever and new certified Laughter Yoga Teachers from UnitedMind are successfully training Laughter Yoga Professionals around the UK.
Since Laughter Yoga is a physical activity, impacting both the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of life, it has been important to add a more theoretical side to the Laugther Training offering that is currently available. The Psychology of Laughter is such a programme.
With emphasis on the psychological aspect of laughter, The Psychology of Laughter brings deepened knowledge to Laughter Yoga Professionals.
However, the programme is not just for Laughter Yoga Professionals, it is for anyone who works with one-on-one clients or groups, who wants to get an understanding of how laughter can be used for developing emotional intelligence and psychological resilience in a tumultous life.
Please contact us to discuss your personal and professional training and development requirements on email, info@unitedmind.co.uk or on phone, 07736 341 717.
